About The Builder

Dennis Henson

Dennis Henson is an award winning builder with a Masters degree in Urban Studies and 30 years of experience. He has been responsible for multiple filings of custom and semi-custom homes including the winners of the 2003 MAME Awards “Home of the Year”, the 2003 Parade of Homes “Best in Show” and the 1999 MAME Awards for “Home of the Year” and “Best Interior Design.”

Dennis has an M.S. in Urban Studies and a B.S. in Communications from the University of Nebraska. He is a member of the HBA of Metro Denver, the Colorado Assoc. of Homebuilders (CAHB), and the National Assoc. of Homebuilders (NAHB). He holds Certifications from the International Code Council (ICC) and OSHA.

Prior to forming Platte River Builders, Dennis was the General Manager for a custom home builder in the Denver metro area and has been building and renovating homes in Denver since 1998. He has long-term relationships with dependable subcontractors to ensure quality work on all of his projects.
